With a few resources, we have turned an uncharmante window situation into an eye-catcher - that benefits the whole room.
What a change: flexibility instead of monotony - with a touch of the Orient. Three self-sewn roller blinds, which take up forms of Arabic architecture, also allow for individual shading: The window and balcony door blinds can be moved independently of each other. Since they hang with a special attachment in a double-track rail, they are also displaced to the right and left. The radiator can now also be used as a shelf and seat thanks to a conversion made of oak glulam.

The radiator turns into an exhibition area with a solid modification of oak glulam, but can also be used as a seat. To do this, attach the laminated timber panels to the radiator with a sturdy substructure made of strips. To the outside, no screws are visible. Our tip: Place the panel a little distance from the radiator and drill ventilation holes in the cover plate so that the warm air can circulate.

If the window is to be specially spruced up, it carries pearls. For this purpose, many different colorful balls are threaded onto nylon cords and fastened with magnetic clasps (for chains). Thanks to the magnetic closures, it is not necessary to cut holes in the fabric. So the chains can be removed quickly.
