We used to braid them for ourselves and our very best friend. Today, much nobler friendship bands conquer the shops - and the wrists of adult women
At present, it often peeps out from under the sleeves of cardigans, denim shirts and printed dresses. A piece of jewelery that could at first glance only be a simple bracelets, so subtly it is designed. However, this accessory has a lot of meaning for us: Because it is - Tusch! - a friendship band . A relic that we actually place in the time of "Dolomiti" ice cream and "Bravo" cut. And it comes from this era too.
Because as a teenager, we were totally addicted to the tendency to Anbandeln. Somehow it had to be sealed, when the nice schoolmate in the BFF status (= "Best Friends Forever") rose - and we blood brotherhood too archaic occurred. So we made for hours with string and pearl macrame formations, which put every handwork from the local lace club in the shade. At some point, years later, the colorful wickerworks became too colorful for us - and we grew up.
And now? We have discovered the delicate bracelets for us after silicone band hype and charm pendants. And that's why it's fun to show the bond with our best friend through this nostalgic symbol. Of course a little bit tongue-in-cheek, not as bitter as it used to, when we were immediately offended when she had taken the good piece. We thought, even our friendship was over with it (and already plucked hard for the next BFF candidate ...).
Today we know what we have about our girlfriend - and that no piece of jewelry could bring us closer together than we already are. But the bracelets look so pretty!
In addition, friendship ribbons preserve memories of beautiful shared experiences. If our eyes fall on the meeting, it brings us nice thoughts. And if you have a knotted ribbon, it may even be a good sign to lose it. Because then that is supposed to come true, what you have wished for mutual bonding.
