"Mountain doctor" Hans Sigl

That mischievous smile, those steel blue eyes! Hans Sigl (to be seen on January 6, 2011 at 9 pm in the ZDF thriller "Klarer Fall für Bär") is a real dream man who even tackles the household. A true stroke of luck, then. If only there was not a catch: He is already taken.

You are a real houseman, who can even iron his shirts. How come?

I lived alone early on and did all the housework myself. You had to iron your shirts yourself if you wanted to go out.

Then you are a real mother-in-law favorite ...

I do not know that. But I master the everyday household things that one has to be able to do.

What do you especially like to do?

Nothing (laughs). But with my wife and me, the following is a ritual: Every time I get home from filming in the fall, I have to move our whole house out and rearrange. I always do the winter cleaning. After all, everything is back exactly where it was before, but it is clean and tidy.

Your wife can be so lucky that you help with that.

Well ... we help both in the household. There are things my wife can do better and things that I can do better.

She and Susanne have been married for two years. What do you love most about her?

She is a very balanced person and has nothing to do with my job. My job is often stressful and chaotic. Since it is nice when I come home and my wife brings peace back into my life. We complement each other perfectly. She has an incredibly beautiful and calm soul, so I can always dock well again.

You celebrate your third wedding anniversary in May. Have you ever forgotten a wedding anniversary?

No. And I'm sure it will not happen.

How so?

Because I can not forget this most beautiful day, quite simply.

They do not have any children yet. Do you still want some?

No, as it is, my wife and I are perfectly happy!

They live in a patchwork family. How does this work?

Well. My wife's children live with us and I see my children as often as possible. Since I live at the Ammersee and my children in Munich, it fits in quite well from the distance.

In your role as a mountain doctor, you are confronted with many positive and negative blows of fate. Have you had the opportunity to experience a positive coincidence in your life?

Yes, when I met my wife.

When was it?

On 14th November 2004.

But you still know that very well ...

Yes, I went to filming and Susanne's son played my movie son. And that's where we met. But the best day in my life was our wedding. When I knew that everything is now under lock and key and Susanne officially belongs to me and me to her.

In every partnership there are also ups and downs ...

Do they exist? With us it is a beautiful, calm river.

How do you do that?

I do not know that. We talk a lot and have a nice way to deal with each other. When we have problems with each other, we also discuss it and fight for our views. I believe that one of our secrets is that we treat each other openly and honestly.

And you have no ups or downs?

What are heights and what depths? It's like this: Because of my job I travel a lot, it's a nice change. During this time I always have a longing for my wife and vice versa. Because of my job, we do not squat day by day every day and I think a bit of distance and longing do a relationship well too.

Sport is important for the health. They keep fit with golf games. Do you regularly take precautionary measures and let yourself be checked?

Yes, I take regular precautions.

How important is that to you?

I think the older you get, the more important it gets. It is also important to me that I get confirmation from my doctor that everything is alright.

Since when do you let yourself be checked regularly?

For five or six years.

What was the reason?

I just wanted to know how it is about me. This is always a reassuring feeling for me. I'm not going there and I think: Now the doctor should find out how sick I am. I go there to tell me that everything is okay with me. That's always a nice feeling.
