After three daughters Maxima and her Willem-Alexander are looking forward to a boy.
"Three things have left us out of paradise: stars, flowers and children", wrote the great poet Dante, Holland's beautiful Princess Máxima (41), who was in an earthly paradise at the time of her visit to Brazil with her husband Willem. Alexander (45) also the dream beaches of Copacabana.
There she admired the beauty of lilies and orchids between the sound of the sea and the palm trees. There she looked in the warm evening air in Willem's arms into the starry sky. And there - surrounded by love and romance - Máxima apparently made a significant decision.
For, as one whispers at the court, she should have whispered sweet news to her sweetheart. A piece of news that Willem dared not dream of: After three daughters Máxima wants to give him another child, preferably a son . A little prince!
There can not be a better present for Willem. A son makes the perfect luck! And it was not so long ago that Maxima reacted differently when it came to the issue of new blood.
In June, she visited the nursery at the Bronovo Hospital in The Hague, where she gave birth to her three daughters Amalia (8), Alexia (7) and Ariane (5).
When the clinic director told her that she was always welcome to give birth again, the princess suddenly became very serious. "No, " she said quietly and turned away quickly.
what happened there? Did Máxima possibly fear that it would be too late to get pregnant again at the age of 41? Had she gotten used to the idea that the desire for a baby had remained unfulfilled until then?
Or was it the big worry? There is Máxima's fear for her father Jorge Zorreguieta (84), who has health problems. And there is above all the concern for Willem's brother Friso (44), who fell into a coma after an avalanche accident.
But suffering often welds people together. As the Dutch magazine "Weekend" reports, Máxima and Willem-Alexander should have come even closer due to the problems of the past year, their love has become even stronger.
And now the romantic visit to the South American paradise evoked again the longing that Amalia, Alexia and Ariane should get another brother. How nice to hear the chuckle of a baby again at Villa Eikenhorst near Wassenaar!
The name of the little prince will probably begin with A. Maybe a little Anton or Adrian as the culmination of a great love ...
