For the Easter Eggs Crochet Pattern for Bunny Egg Warmer

This is what you need for the egg warmer:

For the light rabbit:

  • DROPS MERINO EXTRA FINE by Garnstudio
  • a rest color 100, natural
  • DROPS KID-SILK from Garnstudio
  • a rest color 01, natural
  • DROPS BIG MERINO
  • a rest color 16, light pink

For the gray rabbit:

  • DROPS MERINO EXTRA FINE by Garnstudio
  • a rest color 05m, light gray
  • DROPS KID-SILK from Garnstudio
  • a rest color 10, gray (dark version), or color 01, natural (light version)
  • DROPS BIG MERINO
  • a rest color 16, light pink

For a hare you need about 5 gr Kid-Silk, 20 gr. Merino Extra Fine and a rest Big Merino.

  • DROPS NEEDLE NO. 4
  • Thread Merino Extra Fine and 1 thread Kid-Silk Knitted on the right = 10 x 10 cm
  • DROPS CROCHET NO. 3, 5 - for the string

Warming bag (height approx. 16 cm):

  • DROPS MERINO EXTRA FINE by Garnstudio
  • 100 gr. Color 100, natural
  • DROPS KID-SILK from Garnstudio
  • 25 gr. Color 01, natural
  • DROPS BIG MERINO
  • 50 gr. Color 16, light pink
  • DROPS Needle No. 4
  • Merino Extra Fine and 1 thread Kid-Silk in Krauss rib: 10 x 10 cm
  • DROPS CROCHET NO. 3, 5 - for the crochet edge
  • DROPS CROCHET NO. 5 - for the string

And this is how it's done:

EASTER BUNNY EGG WARMER:
The work is knitted in Krauss rib (ie all sts are knitted).
Using 1 strand Merino Extra Fine and 1 strand Kid-Silk on needle size 4, cast on 30 sts and knit 8 cm back and forth. Cast off the 1st sts of the R. Work over the next 14 sts and put the remaining 15 sts on a thread. Knit back and forth over the 14 sts until the piece measures 7 cm after splitting. Cut the thread and pull through the 14 sts. Put the sts from the thread back onto the needle. The 1st M. abk. Knit over the 14 sts until this side measures 7 cm. Cut the thread and pull through the 14 sts.

ASSEMBLY:
Sew the ears together from the work to the point = 2 ears. Then sew together at the back.

LINE:
Crochet approx. 35 to 40 cm ch with light pink Big Merino on needle size 3.5 mm. Wrap the lm cord around your neck and tighten. Embroider black eyes with a rest and work nose with Big Merino.

HEAT SACK:
The work is knitted on the crotch right (ie all sts are knitted).
Cast on 28 sts on needle size 4 mm with 1 strand of Merino Extra Fine and 1 strand Kid-Silk and knit about 15 cm back and forth. On next row cast on 43 round sts on both sides = 114 sts. Continue to work until piece measures approx. 13 cm from the new st. The next row is as follows: 4 rows, * 2 rows. together, 1 cover, 5 re. *, repeat from * - * and repeat with 2 re. together, 1 envelope and 3 re. to lock. Then continue working until the work of the new stitches measures approx. 16 cm. Then abk.

ASSEMBLY:
Sew the sack tightly together. See Fig.1. A to A, B to B, C to C and D to D. Sew together at the back.

CROCHET BORDER:
Crochet one edge around the sack with 1 thread Big Merino on needle No.3.5: Begin at the seam * 1 dc, 3 ch, 1 tr in the 1st ch, skip approx. 1 cm *, from * - * Repeat and finish with 1 sl st in the first sc.

LINE:
Crochet approx. 75 cm ch with 2 threads Big Merino on needle no. Cut the thread and knot it. Feed the string into the hole circle.
