Goat baby Frostie can walk again

Wheelchair belongs to the past

Due to a nasty infection Frostie was dependent on an improvised wheelchair. Now the baby goat can run independently again.

The sweet snow goat Frostie has only been in the world for a few weeks, but has already experienced a lot! At birth, the animal contracted a severe infection and has since been unable to move its hind legs . Normally, Frostie would not have been able to survive that way, but the Australian shelter Edgar's Mission took care of the little buck and built him a handy walker.

Fortunately, this is no longer necessary! Thanks to antibiotics and loving care Frostie is on the way to recovery and can now move the hind legs again. Although he is still a bit shaky on his feet, but at least his mini-walker needs Frostie no longer.

Incidentally, mountain goats can live up to 15 years . Thanks to human care and successful treatment, Frostie now has a good chance of reaching this age. We are looking forward to the sweet little goat!
