Warming Pad: Quick warm feet

You can not find a heat pad? It's so easy to do it yourself

Warming pads warm feet! Craft yourself one quick: for this you only need three things that you are guaranteed to have at home!

You can always use heat pads : with cold feet, colds and tense muscles. The nice thing about it: You can assemble the warmer quickly and easily yourself. What you need for it? A thick cotton sock, dry rice and thread (or hair tie) to seal.

That's how it works:

1. Fill the cotton sock with about two-thirds full of raw rice.

2. Close the open end with the thread. (If you do not have a thread on hand, you can also use a hair tie or yarn.)

3. Place the sock in the microwave for about one minute until it is warm (depending on the microwave, at a maximum of 400 - 600 watts). If you do not have a microwave, it will work in the oven (at about 150 degrees, but it may take about ten minutes to warm it up).

Finished, the heat pad and your feet are warm in no time! :-)

By the way: As an alternative to rice, you can also use spelled. This stores the heat even better than rice.
