Good chocolate

"How do you recognize good chocolate ?" Well, do you know it? If not, LIDL will be happy to help. Since Monday, the discounter has been advertising all over the country asking what constitutes good chocolate.

Good chocolate can be recognized by the taste, the shine, the smell. And the best cocoa varieties. Of course, Lidl does not hesitate to emphasize in his advertising the positive aspects of his chocolate business. Since 2014, LIDL has been supporting the " Sustainable Cocoa Forum " as one of the few founding members of the food trade, assures the world's second largest discount chain. Three years ago, the "Forum on Sustainable Cocoa" was founded and has since advocated for better working and living conditions for cocoa farmers and their families. Moreover, the organization has made it its goal to secure the natural resources in the producing countries and to promote the further education of farmers.

Whether bittersweet, whole milk or white: Lidl produces its own brand Fin Carré itself - and that to 100 percent certified cocoa. The question of what one actually recognizes good chocolate, thus answers itself, finds the discounter. "Good chocolate can be recognized by good chocolate, " says Lidl.

Obviously the discounters have now discovered our favorite subject of chocolate for advertising as well. Only recently Aldi had pointed out his merits in sustainable cocoa cultivation. Not surprisingly - almost surprised that the supermarkets did not come up with the idea before. Because if one (almost) always tastes good, that's chocolate.
