Wind lanterns with lace look

Photo: deco & style

Wonderfully nostalgic

These lanterns survive the Christmas decoration guaranteed. When the festive decoration disappears in the attic in the New Year, these sweet lights can stand still throughout the winter.

What you need for the lanterns with a tip :

  • Lace remnants or crochet doilies
  • jars
  • Spray paint in white (eg Mtn 94)
  • Velvet ribbon in white
  • wooden discs
  • scissors
  • Disposable gloves
  • pin
  • Paper for the work surface

And that's how easy it is:

1. Put the fabric firmly around the glass and hold it tight (wear gloves) or fix it with a pin.

2. Apply spray paint evenly and carefully remove the fabric again.

3. Ventilate well and allow to dry.

4. Put tealight in the glass.

5. Tie white velvet ribbon around the edge of the glass.

6. Arrange glasses on wooden discs as desired.

Info: Use spray paint on paper underlays only in well-ventilated areas or outdoors, wearing gloves and mouthguards.
