Lantern with autumnal leaves

  • Foam rubber or template for leaves (craft shop)
  • Transparent paper in three different colors
  • Napkin glue (eg

      from Hobby Line; Craft store)
    • Big and smaller glass wind light
    • Adhesive wax slices
    • red candle
    • Physalis
    • pencil
    • scissors
    • brush

    1. Draw autumnal leaves free hand with a pencil on foam rubber and cut out. Transfer sheets to tracing paper using the sponge rubber backing or stencil.

    2. Cut out leaves.

    3. Carefully spread the leaves on one side with napkin glue and glue around the upper half of the large lantern.

    4. Stick the wax adhesive plate under the candle, position the candle in the small wind light and place it in the center of the larger one.

    5. Decorate Physalis decoratively around the lantern.

Do not allow candles to burn unattended and avoid drafts. Keep the burning bowl clean. If the candle smokes, wick shorten something. Only burn the candle on an incombustible base.
