After the tragedy, many passengers have a queasy feeling - this pilot has eliminated it

Pilots have a hard time following the plane crash in southern France: Passengers are afraid, lose confidence in the pilots, they would rather avoid flying soon.

How should pilots handle it? Some now do it by taking care of their guests and trying to find the right words. Passenger Britta Englisch shared this with Facebook:

When she flew from Hamburg to Cologne on the day after the accident with a Germanwings plane, she was pleasantly surprised: the captain personally greeted each passenger and then made a sympathetic speech - and not as usual via the speakers in the plane, but in the cabin.

His speech was honest and soulful. Thus, according to British Britta, he admitted that the crew themselves had a "dull feeling" after the tragedy, but that everyone was on board voluntarily. The pilot talked about how much he and the crew were struck by the plane crash, how much it hit them. He too has a family at home waiting for him in the evening. And fly so carefully each time that he can see her again.

Britta English was thrilled. The empathy of the pilot to the passengers has calmed her. After the speech it was quiet in the cabin. Afterwards, people applauded. "I want to thank this captain. For that he understood what everyone thought. And for the fact that he managed that at least I afterwards had a good feeling during the flight ", writes Britta Englisch on the Facebook page of Germanwings.
