How to make a rose bush out of a stalk and a potato

Roses are the sign of love. They are magnificent and majestic. However, roses are not easy to grow. If you do not have a green thumb, you are desperate to buy the most beautiful of all flowers - unless he has a potato at hand.

All you need is a healthy stem of roses and a big, raw potato. It is sufficient if the stem is between 7.5 and 10 centimeters long.

In the potato you drill a hole into it (about to the middle of the potato), into which you can push the stalk into it. The stalk should be firmly anchored in the potato.

Now you are burying the bottom of your Potato Rose project in the ground. You can either do it in the garden or in a big flower pot. Then pour properly.

Now you have to cover the stem with a transparent plastic bottle - this is how you simulate the rose a tiny greenhouse. All you have to do is cut off the lower part of the bottle and place it so deeply in the ground that it stays stable and surrounds the stem.

Over time, the potato gives the rose stem enough moisture and nutrients so that it can develop roots in it ( after about ten days, the rose should have already anchored well ).

Make sure your project gets a lot of light ( but no direct sunlight! ) And the earth is always wet.
