Women over the age of 18, who have craft skills, fun to renovate, design, decorate, and do their own, can apply at the DIY Academy until October 12, 2013.
After a pre-selection , six candidates will compete against each other at the "Mode Heim Handwerk" trade fair in Essen on November 3, 2013, demonstrating their craftsmanship in wallpapering and painting, laying tiles and laminate in an exciting live contest . For three hours, DIY enthusiasts have time to design a room niche individually. A jury of experts judges not only the manual skills but also the creativity of the candidates.
One reader of the WOHNIDEE and the "Laura wohnen kreativ" will be selected among the applicants and will be invited as candidates to the competition.

All six candidates win high-quality prizes worth over 2000 euros . Miss Do-it-yourself 2013 will receive the title Miss Do-it-yourself for two years at top-notch prizes and, as the official ambassador of the DIY Academy, participate in exclusive photo shoots, press events, events and fairs.
