Only those who free themselves from stress can activate their self-healing

Stress is one of the biggest enemies of our health. We know that eliminating stress activates self-healing. We'll tell you how to free yourself from stress.

The healer in us has a dangerous opponent: stress . Because adrenaline and cortisol block our immune system, prevent recovery processes and even promote tumor growth.

Fact 1: "As I think, that's me - and so is my world."

Examinations with critically ill patients show that relaxation techniques are the key to recovery.

The stress hormones adrenaline and cortisol intervene in the brain metabolism, prevent the release of healing-promoting messengers and thus weaken our defense.

In addition, researchers from the Medical College Georgia have found: Under stress, a specific protein is released. It prevents degenerate cells from destroying themselves. Above all mental endurance damages damage the heart muscle, can affect its pumping capacity. This in turn prevents self-healing cells from getting to where they are needed in a timely manner.

The best antagonist of the stress hormones is meditation : Who sinks into his innermost, gets into a kind of intermediate world - in a state between waking and sleeping.

You have to know that different electrical frequencies are measurable in our brain - depending on the state of consciousness. During the day we are in beta state.

Through meditation, we enter the more relaxed alpha state, where the vibrations of the brain waves slow down. The brain then begins to produce soothing messengers that break down stress hormones. Self-healing is activated.

Fact 2: "Above all, I'm wary of what could weaken my confidence."

Our fellow humans have a huge impact on our recovery. If you think positively, it supports the self-healing process sustainably.

"Our brain is like a kind of laboratory: It accepts thoughts, ideas and models and implements them in certain regions, " says US scientist Dr. Ing. Joe Dispenza. Nerve cells can connect in fractions of a second, form new networks and initiate healing processes - neuroplasticity is what researchers call this process.

Positive thoughts and conversations are the best fuel to activate our self-help. Conversely, dealing with people who do not believe in our recovery can weaken us and disrupt self-healing processes in the long term.

Fact 3: "Reality is what works - regardless of what I believe to be true or false."

Even the diet has an impact on our stress levels - and thus on our self-healing powers .

Sugar deprives the body of calcium and magnesium, has a negative effect on the production of immune cells in the intestine - and stresses the entire organism. Conversely, with magnesium-containing foods such as nuts, we can reduce our stress levels by up to 50 percent.

Also among the vitamins there is a top candidate against stress: vitamin B12. The vital substance supports the body in the production of certain amino acids (building blocks of the proteins), which it needs for cell preservation. Vitamin B12 is mainly found in milk, eggs, cheese, sauerkraut and beetroot.

Fact 4: "The biggest stress comes when we pass by."

Exercise activates the healer in us and helps reduce stress .

"Going for a walk, doing physical exercise, so you press the blood sugar levels, which has been out of balance by the stress hormones, and reduces stress hormones, " says stress researcher Sepp Porta.

The American NHS study (Nurses Health Study) proves that physical activity can even save lives. Thereafter, regular endurance training halves the risk of recurrence of a tumor in breast cancer patients.

But physical activity also has a positive effect on the immune system and our risk of allergies. Sport (three times 30 minutes per week) reduces the risk of infarction and susceptibility to infections by up to 40 percent. Because even sports apparently activates the healer in us - with one exception: competitive sports. The stress.

The important thing is that we do something that we enjoy ourselves. Otherwise we will not be there anyway.
