But what is Tweed actually?

The wool comes originally from Scotland. The term tweed is derived from the Scottish word "tweel", which refers to a particular weave. How timeless this sturdy material is, proves Queen Elizabeth, who wore tweed jackets and skirts as early as 1967 in the Scottish Highlands - and loves to this day.
