Why is laughter so contagious?

Charlie Chaplin said, "A day without laughter is a lost day." He is right! Because if you laugh a lot, you do not have to worry about life.

Laughter is the best medicine! This is also confirmed by laughter researcher dr. Michael Titze: "From the breakdown of stress hormones to the increased formation of antibodies - laughter is good for body and soul."

But apart from the fact that we feel really comfortable while laughing, what causes that in our body? Really hearty laughter is like sport, it keeps you fit and strengthens the body's defenses. And whoever laughs is never alone. Because hardly anything is as contagious, as an honest laugh .
