Forest animals - we show DIY ideas to sew on

Do it Yourself

This forest animal brings autumn into its own four walls.

The owl motive is currently very trendy as the ultimate decoration star! No wonder, because who can resist this cute creature from the deep forest ? We do not ...

And that's why we sew the forest animal ourselves.

For the forest animal you need:

3 fabrics (Mrs. Tulip: Minami, Alisha, Odette), white and brown felt, 4 buttons, fabric glue, stuffing cotton, fabric scissors, tailor's chalk, pins, sewing machine and matching yarn, sewing needle

That's how it works:

1. Print out and cut out the patterns. Place on the back of the fabric and trace with the tailor's chalk. Lay the back of the owl and the front side panels on one fabric and the front center on another fabric and cut. Sew front and side panels together. Place the right side of the sewn-together parts on the right side and sew them together.3. Turn fabric over. For the tip of the beak move the tip to the marked point and fix with 1-2 hand stitches.4. From the felt 2 different sized ovals, or circles cut. Position on the beak line as eyes and glue with fabric glue.5. Sew the buttons on the felt eyes.6. Fill the owl with cotton wool.7. Sew through the opening (bottom) with large stitches, then close the opening with the help of a loose stitch.8. Beat seam allowance inwards and sew together.
