The voice as the key to sympathy and your dream job
The voice of a human is his business card. It can have a great influence on the sympathies that are shown to him - of course, in the interview.
We all like to listen to a pleasant voice, while we are reluctant to listen to an unpleasant voice for longer than necessary - even if the contents of what is said are correct.
It is all the more important to know your own voice well, to deal with it and to optimize it if necessary. Especially in a job interview, this effort can pay off quickly. But this does not necessarily require a professional voice training, because even with our tips you can already achieve a great effect.
Speak calmly and slowly : Take a deep breath and speak slowly. Take your time, because especially in the interview we tend to talk much faster due to nervousness and tension than normally. This is hectic and makes it unnecessarily difficult for your counterpart to follow you.
Pay attention to your pronunciation: Relax your face and your lower jaw and consciously try to speak with your mouth. Thus, a clear articulation will be much easier for you, because you can relieve your neck and thus easily influence your pronunciation positively. Helpful may also be loosening exercises for the face and jaw muscles.
Less is sometimes more: when we are nervous, we tend to talk upside down and form tapeworm sentences that nobody can follow. Better: Take a moment and concentrate on formulating your statements succinctly.
Lowering instead of increasing: The voice can easily jump upwards under the influence of nervousness, which in extreme cases can lead to a break in the voice or a penetrating sound that your interlocutor will find unpleasant. Therefore, try to control your voice and - if necessary - to lower it.

Emphasize important things: Try to change the sound of the voice. With this you can easily emphasize and emphasize words or whole phrases.
Exploiting vocabulary: A large vocabulary is a great advantage, because it allows a differentiated description of facts. Use it in any case and train it regularly with crossword puzzles and books.
