Product recall at Lidl: Köttbullar may contain metal

Anyone who has Köttbullar from Lidl in the freezer should not eat it. The product has been recalled by the manufacturer!

Lidl recalls one of his frozen foods. These are "Gutknecht Köttbullar" in the 1000g package. The consumption of meatballs can be dangerous.

The manufacturer Tillman's Convenience GmbH from Weißenfels, which supplies Lidl with the product, informed on Monday that metal foreign bodies can be contained in the Köttbullarn. The danger exists with meat balls with the best before date 17.10.2015 and the number 35810267. Affected are branches in Bavaria, Hessen, Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate and Schleswig-Holstein, in which the Köttbullar were sold.

Lidl has already taken the product out of the assortment and called it back. Anyone who still has the affected Köttbullar in the freezer can get the purchase price reimbursed in the discount store branch.
