Europe-wide Climate Revolution campaign on waste prevention

She is the personified eccentric: Vivienne Westwood . The fashion scene loves the more than 70-year-old Mother of Punk couture for their idiosyncratic looks - and has been doing so since the Seventies. For the cosmetics company Lush , the designer designed Furoshiki cloths for the Europe-wide Climate Revolution campaign on waste prevention.

Fashion tells stories, that's what Vivienne Westwood loves about fashion. Because embassies like to send the Briton out into the world: fight for the rainforest! Fight against oppression! Do not be terrorized by consumption! She formulates her latest message with the beauty label Lush: together they demand more sustainability, even when choosing the right gift packaging.

Because the Vivienne Westwood designed "Furoshiki cloths" serve as reusable packaging in Japan and are a sustainable alternative to traditional wrapping paper. A great alternative, because every German consumes up to 250 kg of paper per year!

At Lush, there are the two exclusively designed cloths with Climate Revolution logo and the "Face of War", Vivienne Westwood's symbol for the destruction of the environment, for € 17.50 (from 18.11.2013). The proceeds go fully to the Climate Revolution, thus promoting successor projects that publicly call to deal with the increasing environmental impact. Great idea!
