Combination pills and the estrogen-free pill can be taken up to 12 hours late. Mini pills have only a three-hour window. You should discuss major time shifts with your gynecologist.
What should I consider for diarrhea and nausea?
If there is diarrhea or vomiting within three hours of taking the pill, safety is gone. You should use condom to prevent the rest of the cycle. There are no problems with non-gastrointestinal methods such as the contraceptive ring.
Is Sun compatible with the pill?
Not good. You should keep the pill cool and dark.
Can you take a bath with a hormone patch?
Yes you can. The outer layer of the hormone patch is water repellent. Nevertheless, you should check afterwards whether the patch is still in place.
