The discounter Aldi Süd calls back the kettle of the brand 'Jonto' . "In some cases, there is a risk that after heating the water dissolves the bottom plate and hot water escapes, " says Aldi Süd on his homepage. "For this reason, the product may not be used further."
Since March 23, the kettle is sold in all Aldi South regions. Affected are the "Jento Kettles, model FWK2015, in the colors black, red and white" of the importer Petermann Vertriebs GmbH & Co. KG. They carry the number EAN 23263086.
If you have such a kettle at home, you can return the appliance to all stores. The purchase price will be refunded.
