For reasons of preventive consumer protection, the Kaufland supermarket chain is recalling the K-Classic sour cherries from their product range.

The product "K-Classic sour cherries, pitted, sweetened, capacity: 680 g, drained weight: 350 g" is recalled with immediate effect. Concerned are glasses with the best before date 04.07.2019 (lot number ES221) and the supplier number (LFN) 352916.
The reason for this is that it can not be ruled out on the part of the grocer that some of the glasses of the product contain broken glass . Due to the existing risk of injury, the glasses still available on the market have already been taken out of the sale. Customers who have purchased the affected glasses filled with sour cherries, can deliver them in every Kaufland branch. The purchase price will be refunded. A receipt is of course not necessary.
Glasses with a different best before date and a different supplier number are not affected.
The best before date can be found on the lid edge of the glasses. The LFN is again printed on the label below the nutritional value chart.
