Palace whispers
Prince Kyrill of Bulgaria (45) and his wife Princess Rasario (40) prove that they can end their marriage silently or at least interrupt it. You go, as you hear, separate ways.
It all started so magically: Exactly 20 years ago, the son of Bulgaria's ex-king Simeon (72) led the industrial daughter and art student Rosario Nadal to a wedding altar in front of 400 illustrious guests. At many major aristocratic festivals, the two were always welcome guests. Especially to the Spanish, Danish and Norwegian royal family Kyrill and Rosario cultivated warm friendly contacts. Three children seemed to perfect their luck.
But at some point the relationship cooled off, which the press did not miss. Prince Kyrill, who works as a financial expert in London and Sofia, was and still is on the way a lot. His wife could not always come alone because of the children.
Crisis rumors surfaced when one saw Princess Rosario going out with movie star Hugh Grant now and then. "A friend of the family, " it said.
Now, however, the separation seems obvious. However, divorce is not mentioned. The two wanted, so to speak relatives, first try without getting along.
