Fashion campaign for spring / summer 2015
Mercedes-Benz has not been looking for an ordinary model for its campaign for the Fashion Week Berlin. For spring / summer 2015, actress Tilda Swinton is allowed to place herself next to a sleek sports car.
That she has a good eye for special films, Tilda Swinton has proved not only as a jury head of film festivals or triumphant with the Oscar for her role in "Michael Clayton". Still, any personal advisor would despair of the British actress. Because she goes to film premieres unvarnished. And most of all, it turns the materials that leave the general public at a loss. She is simply not straightforward. Tilda Swinton likes it a bit bizarre, a bit disturbing.
What does this mean for the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin ? The fashion week that takes place for the first time in the spring / summer 2015 season at the Erika Hess Ice Stadium, which is so often ridiculed by the fashion press and tries to hold its own against the big sisters in New York, Paris or Milan.
We think: The engagement of the actress is just the right step and we hope for a very special Fashion Week. Just as special as Tilda Swinton herself.
