Bad how he treats his wife

Maybe he does not know what to do with his life without applause, but it's not fair to his wife .

Many men are afraid of retirement, loss of status and boredom. Also Thomas Gottschalk (61) clings to his career. For his professional happiness, he now even goes to extremes. The victim: his wife Thea (66). Are 35 years of marriage worth nothing?

Desperately fighting Thomas Gottschalk currently with his new ARD show, it should be discontinued. At the same time, he no longer has the financial need to stress himself and his family. But instead he goes one step further: as it has now become known, he has rented an apartment directly above the Berlin television studio. And wife Thea is to move from America to him. But her home is in Malibu! Where their children are. There, where she takes care of the first grandson (1). Yes, it is a great sacrifice that Thomas Gottschalk demands of his wife.

What has not Thea done for Thommy? For decades, she was his quiet rock in the surf, leaving him the spotlight and always the precedence. They never complained. She took care of the sons Roman (29) and Tristan (22) and even moved with husband Thomas in 1990 to California to start afresh away from home. They are now going through life together for 40 years, 35 of them as a married couple. No, that was certainly not the case for Thea. Thomas knows that, recently said, "She is creative and witty herself, but has to give all the applause to me and constantly listen to other people, what a great guy I am."

Would not it be time to change that? The two could enjoy retirement. Play with the grandchildren, go for a walk, travel ... But no - Thea should pack her bags again. Start afresh in Berlin. And leave her sons behind - once again to support her husband's back. Because he can not let go. Of course, he sees what a great woman he has: "I feel great gratitude for the fact that I have found a woman who has not been lost. That I have two healthy kids who are reasonably normal, even though I'm their dad. "So it's time to give Thea some gratitude.
