From Milward a circular needle 8 mm, 80 cm long.
1 pigtail or auxiliary needle and 1 wool embroidery needle.
Kraus right: Knit all stitches in back and forth rows to the right.
Pigtail ajour pattern: Firstly divisible by 17 + 2 stitches + 2 edge stitches. Knit pattern according to knitting, 1 pattern set is described. Knit the loops in the back rows as they appear, knit the turn-ups on the left.
Stitch: in Kraus right: 11 stitches and 21 rows = 10 x 10 cm; in pigtail ajour pattern: 14 stitches and 15 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Cast on 128 stitches, knit all stitches in the next row (= back row). In the1. Row 7x knit the repeat of the pigtail ajour pattern and work once more the first 7 stitches of the rapport.
The 1st-8th Knit row 1 x = 152 stitches. Now the 9.-68. Row 21 / 2x knit, the center piece ends in a 30th row of braid Ajoumusters. Cast off all stitches in the next row on the right, knit 3 stitches 2 stitches on the right side and brace together = 128 stitches.
Completion: For the border on each side knit a panel in Kraus right. To do this, pick up 107 stitches per plaid and knit 12 rows on the crotch to the right. For the corners on both sides in each 2nd row work as follows: 1 edge stitch, 1 stitch on the left, 1 turn-off, the middle 103/105/107/109/111/112 stitches on the crotch right, 1 turn-up, 1 stitch on the left, 1 edge stitch.
Knit the stitched stitch in the back row at the left side. Bind off the stitches on the right in the last row. In this way, all four edges of the plaid provided with a panel. Then sew the corners together so that the two stitched stitches are next to each other.
