- 1 milward crochet hook 3 mm
- Wool embroidery needle
- 1 pair of espadrilles soles Gr. 39-40 from PRYM (article 975103).
Work according to crochet script 1. The 1st-12th Work 1x series. Then work along the straight finishing edge 1x the 13th and 14th row.
Work according to crochet script 2. Repeat the 1st and 2nd rows, finish the work with a 2nd row.
Crochet very tight, so that the shoes get a stable hold. The side panels should fit with light tension on the soles, be no longer.
28 stitches and 14.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Cast on 15 squares and crochet according to crochet instruction 1. After the 12th row cut the thread and work the 13th + 14th row along the straight end edge (gray in the crochet pattern). NOTE: For a good fit, the width of the footer can be adjusted in the 12th row by working with slits to reduce this row and with fixed stitches to zoom in.
Heel and side panels:
Begin as for the foot leaf, according to the gray surface of the crochet script 2. Now crochet the left side part directly, working over the first 14 stitches according to the 1st row of crochet 2 = 6 fillets. After 18 rows, one side panel is finished. (For smaller sizes, correspondingly fewer rows, for larger sizes correspondingly more rows). Finish the other side opposite. Now crochet the upper edge of both sides and the heel with 1 row of fixed loops and 1 row of picots, crochet * 2 strong loops, 1 picot (3 loops of air, 1 slit stitch into the 1st airlock), repeat from *.
Sew the narrow sides of the side panels to the straight end edge of the foot sheet so that the picot edge of the front piece is above. Now sew the crochet part with longette stitch to the sole edge. Here, the size can be adjusted again, either sew directly on the side edge or just just over the sole.
