She is one of the most important fashion designers of our time! British designer Stella McCartney (41) is the new patron of the junior award " Designer for Tomorrow by Peek & Cloppenburg Dusseldorf" .

"I look forward to actively supporting the promotion of young fashion talent, and look forward to all applications and the potential that awaits us, " says Stella McCartney, looking forward to the upcoming competition.

From all over Europe, the designer selects her top ten from all submissions, sifting through the collections in Berlin and in July, together with the DfT jury, chooses the " Designer for Tomorrow 2013" .

The award has been in existence since 2009, and for the last two years, designer Marc Jacobs has been a patron for a lot of attention.

The Stella story: Stella McCartney was born in London in 1971 as the daughter of ex-Beatle Sir Paul McCartney . After training at St. Martin's School, she became chief designer at ChloƩ. In 2001 she launched her own label. After successful cooperation with Adidas, a cooperation with H & M followed in 2005. Since then, not only their fashion is increasingly successful, the jet set has long been an icon of their principle: Stella McCartney is a committed animal rights activist and vegetarian and produces only vegan fashion .
