Dear readers,
Do you feel the same? In my show "Always Sundays" I'm looking forward to my smallest guests. When they come down the big staircase, sometimes almost stumbling with excitement and then standing by the "red microphone", that touches me a lot.
Above all, the naturalness with which children perform on stage, and their ruthless honesty are really killing me. In the adult world, one often meets with falsehood. Since the carefreeness of children is an important asset.
For me it is clear: "Children are the greatest happiness on earth." I still remember when my daughter was born. She totally changed my life. At that time I was 26 years old, an age when many people are not yet thinking of family planning.
"I just do not want to miss anything"
Suddenly you learn what it means to take responsibility. You can feel how much you can care for another living thing and that you would really give everything for your child . These experiences have enriched my life more than anything else.
However, this responsibility is not always easy. As parents, of course, we want to prepare our children perfectly for life: they want to protect them from bad things, perhaps from mistakes that one has made on one's own.
But I think every person has to make his own experiences. And that includes mistakes. You can not bed your child in cotton wool and above all and warn everyone.
As parents, we can pass on and convey the good. We can give our children the tools to make them solid personalities. Above all, we should trust them.
I am glad that my daughter is healthy and is a strong personality with a friendly and open nature. Even though I travel a lot in my job, family always has the highest priority for me. I have always attached great importance to that. And that will always be so!
