- 8-11 long-stemmed sunflowers

1. Cut the sunflowers at an angle, being careful to keep to the desired length.

2. Now hold the freshly cut sunflowers in boiling water for about 20 seconds - so the flowers last longer.
3. Arrange the sunflowers in a milk jug filled with water.
