Caleigh Haber has cystic fibrosis - but she is also a normal, young woman. In this video she tells in an impressive way how it really is to live with this lung disease.

Cystic fibrosis is an incurable disease. It is a metabolic disease that makes the secretion in the lungs so viscous that permanent infections and pneumonia occur. Indigestion is also one of the problems with cystic fibrosis. The life span of the patients is significantly shortened.

"I love sushi, " Caleigh talks about the fish dish with so much energy and zest that you think it would be her biggest passion. And that is exactly what makes their lives: passion despite the deadly disease.

For a year, Caleigh is waiting for a donor lung . Until then, she tries to cope with her everyday life with as much joie de vivre as possible. She goes to Dates, makes herself pretty - like a normal young woman. But her greatest passion is painting. And that helps her to better accept her illness.

Despite cystic fibrosis, Caleigh finds so many reasons to be happy. We'll take an example from her. Because as Caleigh says, "Life is beautiful!"
