Easy upcycling
Clay pots and saucers can do so much more, as this DIY idea proves. We make pretty bowls for the coffee table from the flower pots.
You need this for the bowls:
- 2 clay pots in small and medium size
- 2 clay coasters (diameter: 17.5 and 24 cm, hardware store)
- Acrylic paint in yellow and blue
- Hot glue gun and hot glue
- striped deco ribbon (eg from idea)
- Double-sided adhesive tape, narrow (eg from Tesa)
- brush
- scissors
And that's how easy it is:
1. Paint the pots and coasters in the desired color with the acrylic paint until the paint covers. Let it dry well.
2. Position the coaster in the center of the overturned pan and fix with hot glue.
3. Measure the circumference of the reducer and cut the deco tape to length.
4. Glue narrow double-sided adhesive tape around the edge of the coaster and fix the decorative tape on it.
5. Extra tip: cut out the tip of the cake with the appropriate diameter and place it in the bowls.
