Whether as a side table or seating, a stool is versatile. How about this model? Here you will find the DIY guide.
That's what you need for the stool:
- stool
- approx. 2 m flower fabric
- Pomponbordüre
- French chalk
- Ruler or tape measure
- fabric scissors
- pins
- Sewing machine and matching yarn
And that's how easy it is:
1. Transfer dimensions of the seat, back plus front and 2x the dimensions of the side panels (plus seam allowance) to the fabric with a tailor's chalk and ruler (or tape).
2. Cut out pieces of fabric with the cloth scissors.
3. Overcast all edges in a zigzag stitch.
4. Mark the middle of the long piece of fabric.
5. Mark small parts also in the middle.
6. Now place the small pieces of fabric on the right and left sides of the large fabric piece and sew them on (right to the right) so that a cross is created. In doing so, put the middle markings together.
7. Close all side seams to form a cover.
8. Provide the lower edge with the pompon border.
