Live Scandinavian

Clear and bright like the neighbors in the north

In the north, people like to set themselves up with cheerful colors because the winters there are longer and darker. Brightness and luminosity of the colors should counteract the influence of the darkness. Typically Scandinavian are design classics such as Arne Jacobsen's "Armchair Egg" or parquet made of narrow birchwood strips, which is harder than oak due to its manufacturing process. And the fireplace, integrated into a room divider, is a popular Nordic furnishing element. The common denominator of all furniture is the Scandinavian preference for clear, no-frills shapes.

Colorful and rich in shapes

How cleverly surfaces are "broken up" here has something in common: the floor lamp resembles a stack of airy layers of paper, but the leaves are made of easy-care plastic. And the backs of the stackable chairs made of molded, varnished plywood are fan-shaped. Strong colors are provided by the felt rug made of tiles (90 x 90 cm), which can be combined in any combination and joined together with Velcro
