1. "Wunderweib": Who or what comes to mind spontaneously?
Silvana Koch-Mehrin : My grandmother is a miracle woman. She has shown me that life is about taking responsibility for others. She is optimistic, full of zest for life and life energy. She lives on with me today with her 96 years together with my almost 100 years old grandfather.
2. The biggest miracle of your life ...?
Silvana Koch-Mehrin : ... it would be if I could explain to my grandchildren that it used to be unusual for a black man to be elected president and a woman chancellor.
3. What "miracle power / wondrous ability" would you like to possess?
Silvana Koch-Mehrin : I would like to be able to do magic. Then we would not have many nonsensical rules in politics any more - and there would not be any slivers.
4. What miracle cure do you recommend for your health?
Silvana Koch-Mehrin : Laughter, exercise and giving every day the chance to become the best of life.
5. What would you do if you could be a man for a day?
Silvana Koch-Mehrin : I would find out how great it is to have a woman with a career and children. In addition, I could see how very little daughters can idolize their dad. And then I would finally learn the rugby rules.
6. Which three things, in addition to money, mobile phone and keys, should not be missing in your purse?
Silvana Koch-Mehrin : notebook (very old fashioned ...), make-up emergency equipment and spare tights
7. What advice was the best your mother gave you along the way?
Silvana Koch-Mehrin : That even the greatest passion makes the question not matter whether I as a woman financially dependent on a man or not.
8. What's your favorite and what's your worst part in the wardrobe?
Silvana Koch-Mehrin : That changes constantly.
9. Let's be honest: how many pairs of shoes do you really own?
Silvana Koch-Mehrin : No idea, but who can tell me why you never have enough black shoes?
