1. An original place card for your board is quickly made.
Brush with black ink or use a wide felt-tip pen to write Asian characters on a piece of rice paper and paint the name of the guest over it.
2. You may even find someone in your circle of friends who can prescribe the signs for you, otherwise you can copy and enlarge characters from a journal. Reispaper is available in a package at the Asia market for about 2 Euro.
3. The paper lies here on the napkin, which is wrapped with an exotic leaf and held together with a toothpick.
