Made fast and just delicious!
Making bread dumplings yourself: The recipe for the delicious bread dumplings in the Bohemian style! Simply delicious!
For 4 people (preparation time: 70 minutes):
- 1 roll (from the previous day)
- 20 g of butter
- 500g flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 egg
- 750 ml of milk
- Flour for the work surface
Step 1:
Dice buns small. Heat the butter. Roll cubes in it golden brown roast. Let cool down.
Mix the flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl and press in the middle of a bowl. Whisk egg. Add milk to the trough and put everything to it
knead a smooth dough. Knead bun cubes.
Step 2:
Make 2 elongated rolls from the dough on a floured work surface. Let simmer gently in boiling salted water for about 50 minutes. Carefully turn several times with the wooden spoon.
Step 3:
Remove dumplings from the water and slice immediately. The dumplings are an accompaniment to meat, game and poultry.
