Facebook behavior clarifies psyche

Who does not have it? This is a Facebook friend who is constantly posting selfies from the gym - preferably on a treadmill, on a weight bench or in a worn outfit. Annoying - do not you think so? But also worrisome. Because, as a study by Brunel University in London has now found out, all this nonsense of self-staging is a serious problem, to be more specific: a mental health problem.

Show-off photos from the gym

People who constantly boast of show-off photos from the gym have a strong tendency to narcissism - according to the study. In a nutshell: Every single one of the Poser seeks the recognition and admiration of his friends - primarily on social networks like Instagram and facebook. Often their selfies are accompanied by warming slogans like 'no pain - no gain' or 'you never know your limits unless you push yourself to them'. And not to forget - the ever-popular hashtags. Right at the forefront: #fitness, #fitnessgoals, #instafit, #workout, #workhard, #motivation, ....

The result of Brunel University is based on a study that examined the user behavior of 555 facebook users. The conclusion: Especially the fitness posers, who have already collected the most likes, are panting for more - for more likes, positive comments and recognition. Within this study, scientists have studied not only the behavior of the fitness poser, but also the behavior of other facebook types.

Relationship status as a proof of love

People with a low self-esteem often change their relationship status to those who are both-legged in their relationship or in life. "There are reasons to assume that these individuals use updates about their partner to confirm the relationship when they are worried about it, " the researchers said.
