Knitting tension:
10 M and 12 Rd = 10 x 10 cm (basic pattern with needles No. 10); 10 M and 12 R = 6 x 10 cm (cable pattern with needles no. 10).
Knitted pattern for striped cap
Head circumference approx. 54-58 cm
Cast on 54 sts with needle size 10, place sts evenly on the 4 needles - 13/14/13/14 sts per needle and in row 1 st in rib pattern first. Then continue working in the basic pattern in Rd. Distribute 9 sts evenly in 23 cm total height for the declines in a 2nd round of the basic pattern. = 45 sts. In every 2nd round this decrease is still 3 times as hard. = 18 sts. Bind the remaining 18 sts with a thread.
Knitting instructions for Loop
Size 27 cm x 240 cm
Cast on 32 sts with needles no. 10 and the 1st row = back. Then divide M as follows: edge stitch, 10 M basic pattern, 10 M cable pattern, 10 M basic pattern, 1 edge stitch. Cast off in 180 cm total height M
Completion:
For the 2 tips from each end of the shawl, take 10 sts over the basic pattern st each and work in the basic pattern. In every 4th R beids. 4 x 1 sts. After another 4 R cast off the last 2 sts. Attach a pompon with a diameter of approx. 8 cm to each of the 4 tips. In the middle 10 sts (= braid) of the shawls pull in 21 threads of 50 cm and braid them into a braid, knot the ends together.
