Homemade confetti for the New Year's Eve party

  • Creative punch in heart and star shape
  • Colorful paper sheets in DIN A4 or DIN A3 in purple, red, yellow and lilac
  • Glue stick (eg

      from Pritt)
    • Paper sheets DIN A4 in white
    • small clothespins
    • brush
    • Acrylic paint in purple and white (eg from Hobby Line; craft shop)
    • adhesive
    • scissors

    1. Punch hearts and stars out of colored paper with the motif punches.

    2. Place the punched motifs on the copier.

    3. Copy on white DIN A4 sheet.

    4. Fold the paper so that there is an edge of 1-2 cm on one side.

    5. Apply adhesive to the overhanging edge, place it over the open edge of the paper, pinch, press, and allow to dry.

    2. Turn the folded side (left) approx. 2 cm inwards and fold the resulting double fold.

    7. Repeat on the right side.

    8. Fold the lower corners of the two double pleats to the triangle to form the folds for the floor.

    9. Open the paper again and fold the corners inwards at the creases. This creates a straight side edge. These again pinch.

    10. Repeat on the other side. The long edges (top and bottom) pinch and fix with tape.

    11. Paint the clothespins in purple with acrylic paint, let them dry. Record white dots.

    12. Fill bag, turn over opening and fasten with clothespin.
