12 year old girl never gets to read her message to her older self

In 2013, 12-year-old Taylor Smith wrote a letter to herself. Ten years later, she wanted to read it again. But it did not get to that.

When the 12-year Taylor Scout Smith came up with the idea of writing a letter to her ten-year-old self in April 2013, she could not have guessed that she herself would never grow old enough to reread the written lines.

Less than nine months after Taylor wrote this letter to herself, the young girl died suddenly of pneumonia. A short time after her daughter's death, Taylor's mourning parents found the letter she wrote in their belongings.

Taylor's parents decided to publish their daughter's letter on Facebook, thus bringing the words of their sweet daughter out into the world.

The letter of the young girl is just overflowing with curiosity, curiosity and good advice to her older self. If she has not graduated high school yet, she advises her future self to go back to school immediately and catch up. She also wants to know: "Are you going / going to college?" If not, she could understand it.

Taylor reminds her older self to believe in God and to pray. This is a very important concern for the young girl, which makes her very serious. She also wants to know if she has already seen the world: "Have you been out of the country, maybe in an airplane?"

The best lines, however, Taylor concludes for the conclusion: "I think that's all, but remember, it's been ten years since I wrote this, things have happened, good and bad, that's life once and you have to deal with it. "

Tim Smith, the father of the late Taylor, also published a text written by him on Facebook. In it, he makes clear why he has published his daughter's words: "The hope that Taylor shares in her letter, she would have wanted to share with the whole world. As her father, I think, is the least I can do to share her letter with the world (...). "

His message is signed by the mourning father with the words: "Tim Smith - father of the greatest little girl who ever adorned this rock we call Earth, Taylor Scout Smith."

Taylor's letter has become a source of inspiration for many. The feedback that Tim Smith and his wife Mary Ellen received is full of appreciation for this great young girl who lost her life too early.
