The psychologist Carl Gustav Jung looked deeply into our soul - and developed the theory of the "shadow self". Because inside our soul there is a mysterious place that we do not know, but which nevertheless belongs to us - our "shadow self". What does yours look like?
The aura is what surrounds our soul. It is shaped by our inner, but on the outside, our effect.
Inside, deep in our soul, we carry a shadow-self. Here we unload everything that our consciousness finds disturbing. Experiences that we repress, emotions that we do not face, and emotional pain that we feel we can not endure.
Carl Gustav Jung was one of the first therapists to discover this dark realm: "The shadow is everything that you are but you definitely do not want to be."
In the short term, it often makes sense to banish the hurting into the subconscious. But in the long term, this split-off part blocks our life force, interfering with our relationships, and making us responsible for not living part of our dreams. Because only if we also accept the dark sides of our personality, we develop further.
