As reported by the police in Sauerland, a 44-year-old mother has killed her two small daughters and then herself.

The bodies of the two girls and their mother were found last Sunday in an apartment in the Sauerland town of Arnsberg (North Rhine-Westphalia) in the district Neheim.
As reported on Monday, police investigations revealed that the 44-year-old mother killed her six and seven-year-old daughters and then killed herself.
According to the police and prosecutors, a custody battle could have been a possible reason for the crime. The mother is said to have been afraid that they would take her children away.
Meanwhile, a homicide from Dortmund has taken the investigation and continues to investigate in the tragic case.
