Children love chocolate kisses. And the white ones in particular. So much the better that our chocolate cake is baked with the bittersweet chocolate kisses. Therefore shunned by children? No way! Chocolate cake with cherries

ingredients

For the soil: 6 eggs, 200 g flour, 200 g sugar, 4 tbsp water (lukewarm), 1 sachet of baking powder, 1 sachet of vanilla sugar, 1 pinch of salt, 1/2 teaspoon soda

For the topping: 2 glasses of sour cherries, 3 tablespoons cornstarch, 3 tablespoons sugar, 250 grams cream quark, 12 chocolate kisses, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, 25 grams sugar, 150 grams sour cream, 500 ml whipping cream, 3 sachets of cream stabilizer

preparation

1. For the biscuit dough beat eggs and water for 1 minute until frothy. Beat sugar and vanilla sugar for another 2 minutes. Mix the flour, baking powder, salt and soda, half of it on the egg cream seven and stir briefly. Sift the remainder of the flour mixture onto the dough and fold gently. Lay out the bottom of a baking tray with parchment paper. Add the biscuit mixture and smooth. Bake in a preheated oven, 2nd bar from below (circulating air: 180 ° C) for 20 minutes. 2. Bring the sour cherries to a boil with 375 ml of juice, 3 tablespoons of cornstarch and 3 tablespoons of sugar. Then chill.

3. Carefully separate the waffles of the foam kisses and set aside to decorate. Mix the foam with cottage cheese, lemon juice, sugar and sour cream. Whip the cream with creamy stiffness and place in portions under the quark mixture.

4. Spread the cherries on the sponge cake, spread the chocolate cream on top and decorate with the waffle.
