Before, afterwards
How do you get a fresh breeze into the bedroom? With practical finesse, effective color ideas and light summery fabrics, the project "Setting up a new bedroom" is guaranteed.
Setting up the bedroom is fun and this is also unrecognizable: This bedroom is a dream. The walls were tinged sky blue and got up a cream white frieze, the ceiling is pure white - so the room appears much higher. The carpet takes a pattern on the color scheme. A special highlight: The curtain rail for the fragrant window blinds runs not on the ceiling, but under a light console, which creates space for books in an original way. The white wooden bench with the wicker baskets underneath provides even more storage space . And the old bed wears new clothes - including a self-sewn, padded wall hanging as a headboard.
free space
Classic furniture with extras: Opposite the bed a cupboard occupies the whole width of the room; under the windows and framed by the curtains under the console provides a bench storage space
The bedroom newly furnished in retro flair
If you look closely, you will notice fine white flourishes on the light blue wall: it was first glued with structured glass fleece, then tinted with deco-glaze. The old trimmed bedside table emphasizes the nostalgic mood and offers plenty of space for books and other things.
wall decorations
Subtle and yet unusual: a white wardrobe with fifties touch. It is also suitable for hanging chains and scarves.
Colored frame
The carpet consists of individually laid tiles: they can be cut to order and thus allow lay-in patterns such as the bed border. With its bright color, it evokes associations with the sky and the sea - and turns the bed into an island in the room.
Our tip: If you do not want to lay carpet tiles or have a parquet floor, you can also put your bed on a small monochrome carpet and so "framing".
