A vegan is said to have asked for the demise of the Rathaus carillon to "Fuchs, you stole the goose". The request was apparently just a joke.

Humor is not always understood correctly. We have all experienced this before, when we laughed loudest about our own joke and were looked at by others only perplexed. The fact that a misunderstood joke leads to false reports and even to death threats, fortunately, is extremely unusual.
This is a vegan return, who should have requested to stop the carillon of the Limburg town hall ': It was supposedly disturbed by the text of the children's song "Fox, you stole the goose, " in which the violence against a fox is asked. The case went through the media reporting on the crazy vegan (yes, we also talked about the case here ...) and did not arouse the readers' high feelings for vegans in general and for the Limburg vegan in particular.
The Limburg vegan spoke now with the magazine mimikma - international point of contact for the investigation of false reports and made it clear that their concern was only a joke, for which they now had to pay bitterly: They have received death threats, in which it means she wants to "shoot dead". Colleagues have turned away from her and so they have now got medical help.
The true story of the Limburg vegan
The vegan was friends with the mayor on Facebook and jokingly asked him to remove the carillon from the repertoire - simply because she was annoyed by the melody she heard every day for lunch. The mayor asked if the fox should become vegan too, whereupon the vegan answered that the fox should not be shot, please, and that's it. The song was then taken out of the repertoire, because every few days change the songs anyway.
Irrespective of whether the vegan has joked or not, no one in the world deserves contempt and threats for a simple request. Maybe hunters and vegan opponents should think this over.
