That goes to the heart: A message on a 20-euro note

So beautiful! She found a message on a 20-euro note and thus brought two (ex-) lovers back into contact. With success?

It was pure coincidence. Denise O'Reilly from Ireland looked at a 20 Euro note, with which she just wanted to pay, in a little more detail and found a message written on it:

Found this is my purse this morning !!! Ah, Christy, she's you !!!!! Go get ur girl !!!!! Come on people and share !!!

"Christy, it's always been you! Come and find me, Megan" ("Christy, there was always only you! Come and find me - Megan")

Of course, she could not spend the bill. She photographed him and posted the picture on Facebook - so that the message could spread better.

In fact, the image of the bill was often shared within a very short time and spread on the Internet.

Many friends - and friends of friends - and friends of friends of friends - commented on the picture. And finally, after just one day, there actually was a message from Christy under the post:

"Hey, just quick update: I've been in touch with Megan and it's all good Thanks so much for posting." ("Hey, just a little update: I had contact with Megan and it's all fine, thank you very much for the post.")

All is well? Does that mean they found each other and are happy together now?

The News page "Today FM" contacted the two tragic lovers and learned their full story:

Christy is a musician. He wrote a song for her during his 1.5 year relationship with Megan titled "It's always been you" (like the line on the bill).

And: Megan does not mean Megan. Christy calls her that because he misunderstood her name at their first meeting. They met for about a week when Christy first learned that Megan is not really Megan at all - the name remained as a sort of witty nickname.

After 1.5 years, the couple separated and Megan began to meet another man.

When Christy saw the 20-euro bill on Facebook, he contacted Megan. She told him that she had been to a concert with him about six months ago and paid the entrance fee with the money. She had thought that Christy would be paid for the concert in cash with the entrance fee. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Christy has never received the bill, he did not know that Megan was at the concert. And Megan thought that since Christy does not answer, he probably has no interest in talking to her.

The two have contact again, but they are not together again.

The story definitely sounds like there are feelings on both sides. Why else would Megan go to the concert and bother with the bill, and react to Christy right away when he hears about the bill? We hope that the two will find clarity for themselves.
