Rome - Under 500 euros

A weekend in Italy's capital does not always have to be expensive ...

Four days of Rome with sister and mom!

The mission of our short trip: Enjoy the first rays of sunshine, explore the city as cheaply as possible - and find a nice Italian for La Mamma. Our only luxury: the taxi from the airport to the hotel and an extra bed in a double room. Instead of wasting valuable time in expensive museums, we buy Peroni beer and delicious paninis in the Alimentari shop, sit down at pretty fountains or in secluded parks and watch Italians and tourists running around. Who needs five-euro espressos in Caffè Greco? Instead, we buy colorful hats at the flower market Campo de 'Fiori and get up at six o'clock for the biggest flea market in Europe. Every evening we feast in small side streets Osterias, eat pasta, house wines and Dolcis and fall in the evening tired and happy in our soft beds. Too tired to find a husband for mom. Never mind, we'll be back!
