Emotional Mother Son Moment
Mary Ann has cancer in the final stadium. Before she dies, she wants to dance one last time with her son - at his wedding.
Mary Ann Manning knows that she will die. The 61-year-old has lost the fight against the cancer of the breast. There is no hope for her anymore. But before she finally gives up, she wants to dance one last time with her son Ryan at his wedding. The fight against cancer, however, has greatly weakened Mary Ann. The mother of three sits in a wheelchair because her legs are barely able to carry her. But nothing and nobody can stop them from their big goal. She wants to see her son's wedding, whatever the cost!
On the day of the wedding, Mary Ann is overjoyed to be there. In San Francisco, her son Ryan and his fiancée Katelyn give the yes-word. But the wedding is not the most emotional part of the wedding. When the song "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" is played, Mary Ann, to everyone's astonishment, actually gets up from her wheelchair to dance with her son! He lovingly puts his arms around his mother and supports us as the two move slowly to the music. A really touching moment, in which hardly an eye has remained dry. It almost seems as if Mary Ann had saved her last powers just for this one day. Although visibly exhausted after the dance, she is still overjoyed.
It is a moment that the family will never forget. Three days after the wedding, Mary Ann falls asleep forever. How nice that her last wish has been fulfilled before! At any rate, we could not hold back the tears during this touching video .
